Level 3 Drama

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Zoe Fleetwood.

Internal Credits: 14
External Credits: 4

This course, a university-approved subject, is designed to build upon the skills developed in previous senior years, advancing students' proficiency in acting techniques and their understanding of theatre and drama components. Students will explore various styles of theatre, enhancing their versatility and performance capabilities. In their final year, they will have the opportunity to work independently, while also having the option to engage in group performances, production or directing if preferred.

Throughout the course, students will develop valuable real-world skills such as effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking. These skills are essential for success in many fields beyond theatre, including business, law, education, and the arts. Additionally, students may choose to prepare for the Scholarship Drama Exam, which will be offered as a co-curricular activity during Terms 3 and 4.
