Course Description

This course aims to extend language skills beyond the basic themes studied in previous years, with a focus on issues that affect society. Students will also learn to justify and express their own ideas and opinions and challenge those of others in both spoken and written German. Topics to do so may include current issues such as environment, immigration, technology, advertising, health and wellbeing, and media.  Students will continue to develop their communication skills, critical thinking, knowledge of grammar and the cultural awareness required in today’s global world.


Pre-requisites

At the discretion of Teacher in Charge. Either 91123 or 91126 (externals) plus either 91125 or 91127 (internals).
