Students studying this course will be analysing time series, bi-variate data and using statistical methods to make formal inference. It will also look at probability concepts and probability distribution including normal distribution in detail. This is best suited for students interested in medicine, social sciences, business and data analysis.
Pre-requisites
Merit in Probability methods (AS91267) and Achieved in 3 other Achievement standards.
Students should have gained at least 11 credits from Level 2 Mathematics standards.
Teacher recommendations will also be taken into consideration.
