Course Description

This course aims to extend language skills beyond the basic themes studied in previous years, with a focus on unfamiliar situations and contexts. Students will also learn to justify and express their own ideas and opinions and challenge those of others in both spoken and written German. Topics to do so may include work and the future, relationships, current issues, film and media etc. Students will continue to develop their communication skills, critical thinking, knowledge of grammar and the cultural awareness required in today’s global world.
Pre-requisites
At discretion of the Teacher in Charge. Either 91970 or 91971 (externals) plus 91969 (internal) achieved at Level 1.
