Level 3 English

Pre-requisitesStudents must have achieved at least 14 English credits at Level 2.
Internal Credits: up to 14 External Credits: 8-12
Students will have achieved University Literacy requirements and be aiming for Level 3. Students may also choose to prepare for the Scholarship examination. It is expected that students who take Level 3 English are students who read regularly outside of class. In this course students are given the option to complete the two internal assessments which best suit their needs (out of a range of 5) and will also look to complete two external standards.
Students who have not achieved UE Literacy in Year 12 may have to be placed in a Level 3 Literacy class.
