In this course students learn about producer and consumer choices, interactions between households and firms, how economic decisions are made, and the effects these choices have on individuals and the economy. Students will be introduced to the way producers work and the concept of a market which determines prices and allocates scarce resources. We are all involved in Economics as producers or consumers and this course provides an understanding of our different roles in this process.
